Product description

Unassembled 1/72 scale accessories set depicting late WWII German aircraft missiles and bombs to use in other models.

Kit includes 10x Ruhrstahl X-4,  a wire-guided air-to-air missile that never was used in combat but was tested and produced in over 1000 units before the end of the war. The design and concept was later used as basis to develop projects around the world, including wired guided anti-tank missiles (Ruhrstahl X-7). The was tested from  Focke-Wulf Fw 190Junkers Ju 88 and Messerschmitt Me 262, but proving impossible for single seat fighter aircraft to to control both aircraft and missile and the same time.

Kit contains also 2x SC1000 (Sprengbombe Cylindrisch 1000) bombs, also known as the cylindrical explosive bomb, was a formidable air-dropped demolition bomb utilized by Germany in World War II. Weighing over 1,000 kg (2,200 lb), it earned the moniker "Hermann" among Germans, paying tribute to the Luftwaffe commander Hermann Göring. The SC1000 was dropped from several different aircrafts including Heinkel He 111 and also was commonly used as anti-shipping with a different composition and paint marking.
